A great storefront (and noted)

11th Street just west of First Avenue...

Meanwhile, hanging inside the doorway... just took this shot for posterity. A reminder of what could be the biggest flop in Broadway history.

The food is even better than the signs. Great smoked mozzarella and fresh pasta...hmm, been a while since I've been there, may have to head over and stock up!

Russo's fresh offerings are great. They have a delicious olive bread!

I've been buying my fresh ravioli and domestic prosciutto there for decades...always fantastic, and closer than schlepping down to Little Italy. Let's hope they stick around for decades more.

I recently discovered that Russo's is now open on Sundays. Not sure when that happened, but it was news to me, so I thought maybe someone else out there wasn't aware.
