ICYMI: Starbucks has left Avenue A and St. Mark’s Place

If you missed it, the Starbucks on the northwest corner of Avenue A and St. Mark’s Place closed for good on Saturday ... one of 250 locations nationwide to shutter.

As of today, the windows are covered and the Starbucks signage has been removed. No "For Rent" sign is up at the prime corner space yet. 

The outpost opened in August 2017, arriving to some neighborhood opposition — including a "Not Another Starbucks" rally. 

For now, the waiting game begins for what's next...
