I don't celebrate Christmas, but I absolutely love this time of year. It makes the cold easier to swallow when everything is decorated with bright fun colors/lights!
For the record, the block is the Eastern side of Second Ave, between Fifth and Sixth Streets (not Fifth and Fourth Streets as the post title incorrectly states).

Please, I am extremely offended. You should call it "holiday village" to be inclusive of all faiths.

You can never have too many holiday lights, especially in winter when everything turns dark and gray.
I always liked this block. It's one of the nicer ones on this stretch of 2nd ave.
