Grieve, this is fantastic. Can I ask what kind of camera you use to take the amazing shots with which yr blog abounds?

Anon 9:04 - you really need a refresher course on punctuation and capitalization, to say nothing of history. Get on that.

Thanks, Lisa! I shot this with a newish Olympus PEN E-PL1 ... Don't always have it with me though... and so I use a little Panasonic Lumix.

Lisa, not only does Anon need to brush up on grammar, punctuation and history, he/she also needs to study geology. One earthquake cannot the entire world destroy. That would mean all the faultlines on the planet would have to crack open together in a ripple effect. Geez. What a dummy.

Grieve - thanks for the info. You have a great eye for a great shot!

Anon 3:02 - you are SO correct, I missed that one, Mea culpa! (To be a Satanic Papist about it.)

Oops, I meant seismology, not geology. :)
