Chico paints William and Kate

As I exclusively reported, a couple named Kate and William were married recently. And Chico was back in town to honor their union on Houston at Avenue B....

You just know this is going to get tagged with toilet graffiti and turn the whole thing into a royal flush.

Love Chico! I remember when Jon Jon's plane crashed I waited patiently for a mural to appear. I had it planned in my head what it would look like and that he would write a big script "PORQUE?" above it. He must have been busy elsewhere because I don't remember it ever materializing.

Ugh. 2 + 2 = Art!

Please. I know Chico is an east village saint, but wouldn't it be nice if he could avoid a subject so antithetical to street art and/or learn to draw?

Chico may not have the drafting skills of Degas, but to be kind, it looks like a work in progress.

No slams against Chico, please; he's done many street murals relevant to the EV and LES, if he chooses to do something with a different subject matter, well, that's his prerogative.

I will never forget how, on the evening of September 11, 2001, he and his crew had already begun painting two memorial murals on the east and west corners of the dry cleaners and Styvesant Grocery on 14th and A, fabulous and heartfelt tributes to the lost that were soon painted over (Styvesant) or covered by ads (dry cleaners) by the building owners. So if he wants to paint Will and Kate, I say, go ahead. And yeah, what is pictured is definitely NOT the finished product.

The subject matter is irrelevant to the neighborhood.

The subject is irrelevant to the world, except for a few million Brits. While British Government instituted some of the most drastic Social Services cuts, these 2 leeches are spending 100s of millions on this pompous display of entitlement and arrogance.
