Good as place as any to post this:

On the topic of EV questions I feel I should know the answer to so I’m too embarrassed to ask…what’s the story behind the mailboxes attached to the trees by the flagpole in TSP?

Are you referring to what I believe are bat boxes?

I saw a discarded tree today on 6th between 1st and A, but I had my hands too full with my dog to get a shot. I thought I'd have a "winner" in the lateness derby, but, looking at this, apparently there's a whole crew of people who throw out their trees only at the start of March?

I once chucked mine out my first floor EV window, a week or two after Easter. Looking back, (20-some years) by keeping it so long, I might have been as irresponsible as those who currently charge their e-bikes indoors.
