The worst offender in my book is the gas station on Ave C and Houston that cleared the snow away from the pumps by plowing all the snow onto the sidewalks, making them completely useless giant mounds of snow.
I think that Rite Aid is under new management. I went in the other day and there was a dude in a suit who seemed to be the boss. And the place was fully stocked. It was kind of shocking. Service was still painfully slow however.
There's still big quantities of snow and now ice on both the platform and the stairs of the 8th street N/R/W station. It's every man for himself out there.

Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

And in the case of the world's worst Rite Aid on 1st Avenue and 5th St., fully occupied businesses aren't bothering to shovel either.
