Love the ConEd Building? Then have we got a home for you!

Just look at the view from this private roof deck on Fourth Avenue...

This two-bedroom home, located in the Petersfield, is going for $1.95 million, per the listing. Just think of all the money you'll save on watches!

watches? people still wear those? i see more and more people check time via their iphones or cell phones.

also, as for that view, it will be out of reach for everyone but the ├╝ber-rich, much like central park becoming a gated community

I know someone who lives in that building and the apartments are really spacious and beautiful, though the character inside has been renovated out of them, but the building itself is pretty nice. The doormen are also particularly pleasant.

$1.9M is a lot of money for most of us, but I know people who have paid $2M for their homes and they are FAR from 'uber-rich'. They're just rich. Uber-rich people spend $2M+ on renovations.

still creating a gated community for only the riches, uber or not, nonetheless...
