Sad to hear about the Mercury Dime. He may have been successful if it weren't for the permanent damage done to the community by the Friendly Tower of Doom at the west end of the block...

Utterly crushed at the loss of Hong Kong Supermarket. Wrote about it last year for SENY; it's been a favorite of mine for years.
