The person who wrote the comment about "missing the good ole days of heroin", is one of MANY of the mindless, useless, individuals who live in this city, and operate without any ability to differentiate between progress and improvement, and the total destruction of quality of life. Are they stupid or just plain dumb?
"Are they stupid or just plain dumb?" No more so than you, apparently.
Based on your shallow response, I'd say you're at the head of the line when it comes to "stupid and dumb". If you've got something on your mind, then say it, otherwise move on.
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

Why does it have to be a choice between 10 bars in 2 blocks (yes 10, count them) and heroin? I don't think they are mutually exclusive.
The heroin is still here.
