i refuse to believe the weather-predictors know *anything.* since thursday, they had been saying rain on saturday and sunday, and there has not been a DROP.
is it me, or are the weather predictions waaaaaay more inaccurate than they used to be? they are, in all practicality, useless.
Yeah, I don't get how they were all so wrong on this one yesterday.... I mean, look at that map! Seems really ominous. Yet, it rained for about 3 minutes... and there were a few power guests of wind around 4:15... then the sun comes out...

By the way
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

Thank you Daria.
I spent this whole weekend waiting for these alleged thunderstorms -- nothing! And like I was supposed to believe a TORNADO was on the way??!

I was in a huge storm in Brooklyn on Sunday. It came out of nowhere and was super-violent. So weird.
I lost my umbrella on 3rd and A with a mighty wind... blew the thing inside out. Wasn't even a $3.99 deli special.
