They may have been watching some guy's terrier chase, catch and tear apart a rat (at least that what I was doing when I stood there---I totally didn't notice the tree until I returned later).
Maybe TSP should have open dog release day to deal with the rats?
ALL the people in the East Village and Lower East Side today were so fratty and corny...I am worried that this is really who lives here now because there was no transit. Has the weekend crowd really taken over so much that they are the main residents? It was literally all I saw today. Felt like a college campus. Nauseating.
You got it - the East Village has been force changed into a college town - and those people were watching the hordes of rats scuttling about, they live under a stump next to the playground. if I could determine that in 5 minutes, why can't the park dept? Oh, they are to busy putting up signs that say "Park closed"
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.
