Here is something I’ve been wondering-not that it’s any of my business but also with that NYC “But How Are They REALLY Making Rent” curiosity. Was Jen actually able to make enough money JUST selling books to pay for rent and food? It’s wild to me that someone could pull that off in NYC anytime after…I don’t even know…the early 90s? Maybe the very early 2000s, if they’re living in their elderly relative’s rent controlled apartment or something?
Anyway. Selling books on the street is a time-honored NYC phenomenon and I’m sure the neighborhood will miss her. Wish her all the best!
