My son did a stint on Sesame Street and even more profitably, voice overs for something called Elmo's World which I have never seen. Let me tell you, it's a gift that keeps on giving, even though it means I have to file a tax return for him every year.
He doesn't remember much. The only memory he can conjure is sitting in Big Bird's nest and being surprised that it was made of rubber tubing painted brown. I remember once he had to learn a song from a tape they sent us prior to shooting. We sang that stupid song for days on end, but he has no recollection of that at all.

We love tips
Have a story idea or tip about something happening in the East Village? Or maybe a photo? Or several photos? Or video! We'd love to hear about it. Or see it. Or something. Please go here to submit a tip.
By the way
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

I wonder if I'm going to be able to walk through the park to get to the library today? I guess if I catch a glimpse of Grover it will be worth it.

Nice gig for him, Jill... did he enjoy the experience?
