Yeah, I saw that. I almost went it, too, then changed my mind when I saw frat boys inside. They've changed the whole interior, also. Bathroom is now upstairs. The dining room in the back is gone (now the bathroom). And the bar counter top is no longer there. Jukebox is gone. And there are plenty of plasma TV's all-over the place. [Funny, that they're sticking to the after 4pm open on weekdays even though there was the UEFA soccer semifinals (had to go to Central Pub instead)]. Doesn't have the feel of an "Irish" pub anymore. Then again, I was only there for a few milliseconds.
Only been to Ryan's a handful of times through the years...though I did stop by after the renovation. They managed to strip the place of any character. Not sure what they're going for now.

We love tips

By the way
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

East Village has been stripped of any character, so I think they're just going with the flow.
