The Saint George Annual Ukrainian Festival starts tomorrow... EV Grieve reader/commenter Mick passed along the link to some photos from St. George Schools on Seventh Street... no exact date is given on these two...just some time in the 1950s...
The brown building in the first picture is the Loews Commodore which became the Fillmore East and the next picture was Cooper Union on 7th Street and 3rd Avenue before they built that ugly gross monster they got now ugh!!!

Where were those pictures when we were putting together the Times Queer e-book? They illustrate the children and nuns perfectly!
