On second thought...
On Sept. 7, I ran an item on Cafe St. Mark's taking over the defunct Red Mango space on St. Mark's Place... Well, that didn't last long... there are now "for lease" signs on the space...

But they served froyo and tea--so unique! I'm no MBA, but market saturation and differentiation aren't difficult concepts, folks.
EVG - they were open, but - by my count - for less than a month. Saw this yesterday but couldn't get info from anyone in the area.
They shoulda offered free wifi - the place woulda been packed - with people sitting around for hours with empty cups
