Table 12's sidewalk cafe debuts

Many thanks to EV Grieve reader Project Chow (@projectchow) for passing along word that Table 12's sidewalk cafe has debuted on 12th Street and Avenue A...

Per the CB3/SLA, The sidewalk cafe must shut down at 10 p.m.... and they can set up again at 8 a.m.

With this addition, though, part of Chico's Kool Bloo sign was painted over ... Project Chow has some before and afters too... (thanks to @chufucious)

They are required to have a 3 foot path contained within the cafe (which they do not) to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The waiters cannot serve from the area outside of the approved area. All in all though, at least it's not a bar. Westville East will be much worse if they get a sidewalk cafe.

What are these guys paying in rent? I've looked at the menus and reviews and it's clear that these are the two most overpriced restaurants in the entire neighborhood.

$20 for a burger, fries, and a soda at Kool Bloo? Have they lost their minds?!

Waiting for the first tag.

I live on this corner, and I can't think of a more unappetizing outdoor location. It's so loud and dirty.

The manager who works at night is a dick.

The girls who work at Table 12 are so nice but the food takes forever to arrive even when it isn't busy. They share the kitchen with Kool Bloo. At first I figured they were just working out a system but after all this time it still takes forever to get your food. I only eat their now if I know I have a good 45 minutes to wait.
