Is Terakawa Ramen opening in the former Teriyaki Boy space on East 10th Street?

Last week, we reported that Teriyaki Boy on East 10th Street had closed... Blue Glass says that workers (pictured here, on a break) have been busy renovating the space...

Meanwhile, multiple tipsters report that a Terakawa Ramen outpost will open here. They've already opened in two former Teriyaki Boy spaces around the city.

within a few feet are a small japanese noodle shop and a small japanse curry shop.
it's like tv - one success breeds more snd all we have now are reality shows.
how about a little diversiy?
i guess it's better than a bar.

Teriyaki Boy was to Japanese food what McDonald's is to the humble but respectable hamburger - quick and literally dirty, loaded with grease and manufactured with zero finesse. Pure dreck.

If indeed another noodle restaurant is replacing T-Boy it may oversaturate the block and neighborhood. Hope they know what they're doing. I wish all good neighbors success.
