That pop tart looks more like a toaster strudel to me, which means that squirrel is going to need a toaster if he really wants to enjoy that thing.

Hmm, you're right -- it does look more like a toaster strudel. i changed the headline.

instead of lowering the playground fences, maybe the parks dept. will use the $$$$ for public toasters!

Ridiculous. Squirrels are not smart enough to use a toaster. SMH ROFLMAO ICYMI.

Public rain-proof toasters would be a big boon to the homeless! Maybe mount them on the lower fences so the kids could enjoy an after-school snack.

I wonder how many hours this little cutie had to wait in line to obtain his sweet treat?

Thanks Grieve! And maybe we should start calling it Toaster Strudel Park to help kickstart the public rain-proof toaster movement. For instance: "Hey, remember the Toaster Strudel Park riot? That was sweet."

Unhealthy squirrel food.

And he didn't have to pay $100 to stand and eat it.

Is this a red squirrel? I lived in the East Village (mid 80s to 2013) until I was evicted, and now live in London. Never saw this kind of squirrel in all that time!

We have gray squirrels here (including my back garden) widely considered a pest from America. Ironic to see this in my old neighborhood
