Yes. And shut down all the grocery stores too — any place that sells food. Restaurants. Delis. We have no right to be able to buy food for the next few months — especially in an outdoor market.
people need food. farms need to survive and i'm happy to get my produce from them directly. this is a much better option than grocery stores at a time like this - open air, not crowded, no lines with a million other people, and now they aren't allowing self serve so fewer hands touch compared to normal grocery.
For many of the vendors, Greenmarkets are their only sales outlet. Without sales to nearby restaurants that buy from them regularly, many farms and other Greenmarket purveyors will be in deep financial trouble. We need to support the Greenmarket as well as our local bodegas, grocery stores and locally owned restaurants.

Shut down the market. If everything the Gov says is real, then shut this down. And shut down the construction sites.
