The East Village Independent Merchants Association is gathering resources for local business during the COVID-19 health crisis.
Per their Instagram message:
The impacts of this unique emergency are substantial and will be ongoing. We have compiled a variety of resources that provide relief to East Village merchants at eastvillage.info.
We will continue to update this information as new programs become available in an ever-changing environment.
They are also posting concerns from local business owners on the EVIMA Instagram account...

EVGrieve, my apologies if you've already seen this or posted this. I received an email from Harry Bubbins at Village Preservation with additional links for local small businesses who need help. As you know, many of our struggling small businesses have set up crowdsourcing campaigns to meet operating costs during these challenging times.
If you are a small business owner or know one who needs help setting this up, please let us know -- we can help connect you to such a resource.
In addition, Village Preservation wants to be supportive in ways we can, like using our social media platforms to help promote small businesses in our neighborhood.
