In the 1970s and early 80s that site was host to Arka, an amazing Polish-run store where you could buy pretty much anything you could think of - men's shoes, gallons of paint, make-up, silk flowers - for great prices. Often after shopping there I'd run across the street and load up on Orchidia pizza. Yeah, those were the days.

Well that bank is relocating from 14th & 1st, so it's a new bank, but an old bank.
