Cat days of August

Oops, forgot to run this feature last Friday! So this is from the one store on Avenue B between Sixth Street and Seventh Street that I can't remember the name of right now.

The store is SOS--I was taking a photo of this lovely feline and the onwer said "Don't photograph my cat".

Thanks, Melanie. And oops! Glad the owner didn't spot me! Ha...

I stopped to pet that cat once and he snarled at me.
(The owner, not the cat)

We just stopped in and realized that the cat was, indeed, the EVGrieve poster cat. We mentioned it to the owner who joked that he needed to figure out a way to monetize the cat since people stop by constantly ("I live upstairs and I look down at night and people are outside every single night taking pictures of my cat!") to take photos of the cat but never buy anything. He seemed nice and the cat was very friendly. Interestingly, the owner was unfamiliar with EVGrieve but we turned him on to the sight!

Thanks Pedro!

The owner of that shop is a d-bag. That poor cat must be pet deprived because every single time I went in there (before I stopped going in there because the owner is a d-bag) the cat would run up to me and literally jump into my arms!!! Within seconds the owner, who I've never seen smile, would be beside us with his ' don't pet my cat,' routine. Dude, pet your cat once in a while and maybe crack a smile to your regulars . That's why you don't see me in there anymore buying Orange Flower water. Yes, now you remember me don't you. I walk all the way to Whole Pay Check and pay more $ 'cause you're such a . . .
