It was closed last weekend too. I assumed it was a holiday thing...

The rent is too damn high.
If you talk to the old man behind the counter, the second or third thing he'll ask is if you are a christian. I figured that since they're so devout, the closing is just a holiday thing. Probably open again on Monday.
It is a holiday thing. When the owner moved to America, he made a decision to observe "American" holidays.
