Wow. My best friend in high school had a '63 that was exactly this same color. Only diference was that the original color had been a pukey aquamarine, so we painted over the old paint, rust and a half-assed Bondo application with this color blue. Did the whole thing with two 6 inch clapboard brushes in about 2 hours. Never could get it to shine much though.

We love tips
Have a story idea or tip about something happening in the East Village? Or maybe a photo? Or several photos? Or video! We'd love to hear about it. Or see it. Or something. Please go here to submit a tip.
By the way
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

Didn't I point out this car (I said a 1962 Dodge Dart)in a previous EV Grieve post not too long ago?
Great shot and a cool car! Whatever happened to EV Lambo?
Nice paint. I believe it's a '63, I owned one of these in '76 for a while when briefly living out West. It had a pushbutton transmission and no A/C.

WANT.
I think the owner of the car is the owner of Snack Dragon.
Yes, it is indeed owned by the owner of Snack Dragon.
I heard they are opening a new place out in Williamsburg on S 4th and Bedford...
My first car was a '66 with all red leather interior. I had to sit on a pillow because I couldn't see over the huge steering wheel. ahhh the memories
As I previously commented re the November photo Crazy Eddie mentioned, it's a first generation (1960-1962) Plymouth Valiant.
For proof, see the photos in the Wikipedia entry for Plymouth Valiant:

Do I get a prize? Who's the judge? Gruber MacDonald?
