'Tis the season for discarding Christmas trees before Christmas

We spotted the first Discarded Before Christmas Christmas Tree on Friday... And this morning on St. Mark's near Second Avenue...

...and to shut up please the authentication crowd... a copy of today's Post... with its pages magically turning for the photo op...

P.S.
Does this count... here on East 13th Street and Second Avenue...?

It's my favorite NYC Christmas past time!!! The best is the tree that appears on the curb Christmas night- ornaments and all! We spot one every damn year! Just what went on in THAT household?!

A transient Christmas! I'm looking forward to the next few days when all the dudes, bros and OMGs are back in a flyover state for the holidays.

I think I have the answer, when you have already had your "holiday" party and you and all your bros are heading to your condo in Aspen for 2 weeks who wants to come home to dead tree?

Re: Notorious Lib's comment, I was just out and about and it's a ghost town out there. This is what happens at college campuses over winter break I guess. Sweet!!!

I love finding them in trash in march.
