SantaCon 2022 is now on the clock

Something truly terrifying for your Halloween: SantaCon NYC 2022 is on the clock

SantaCon returns for in-person binging and bar crawling on Saturday, Dec. 10.

No word yet on the route, participating bars, etc. — all that will arrive in the days leading up to Dec. 10. So you have time to make plans to be far, far away.

H/T Steven!

This nonsense should only be allowed in rich, quiet neighborhoods. Gracie Mansion would be an ideal starting point. Rudy ‘make it a double!’ Giuliani should be their cult leader. This should no longer be allowed in the East Village. We have enough cretins to deal with, 365 days a year.

Here we go, the annual "it should not" ritual... They won a first amendment case in court. You can't do anything about it. That's all, folks.

Oh dear God. Well all I can say is, St. Nicholas better finally bring back the Cookie Walk this year, and have it on the same weekend - it's the only thing that makes S-Con bearable, to go home with a box of delicious cookies and ensconce myself in my apartment so my cats and I can watch holiday movies.

Here we go yet again. The annual shit show awaits us. I will be staying in the entire day with my blinds down.

Beware the thought police, they hate it when people disapprove of Santacon, and can't ever seem to understand why some are bothered by the event.

So, Shit-Con is coming around again, bringing with it all the charm of a violent bout of diarrhea.

Free bonus: it'll be followed by a festival of Covid and flu infections for weeks afterward. Skol!

And for every year Shit-Con is held, the organizer(s) accrue that much more shitty karma for themselves; they must like to live dangerously.

I'll be spending that weekend in a far more civilized location, one that is unknown to stagger-bum young alkies.

"This nonsense should only be allowed in rich, quiet neighborhoods."

This is precisely why they hang out around Second Avenue and St. Marks.

Santa Barf would be less bad in our area however the proliferation of bars really exacerbates this blight upon our fair berg but since CB3 has decreed that the neighborhood is only here to serve as a recreational area for NYU and post college children and as real estate interests honey pot we're deluged in a way other area's are not. pray for rain and lots of it

Please bring back the cookie walk! It's true: We need the sugar to handle the influx of Santas. lol.

Bars that participate in this should not be allowed to renew their liquor liscense. I know for a fact that there are bars that participate in it and had previously agreed not to participate in bar crawls.
