The remains of a charred Acura on Houston

--

Here are the remains of an Acura that crashed into a pole early Sunday (4:50 a.m.) at Houston and Allen. After the collision, the car caught fire. We're told no one was injured. (Thanks to everyone pointing out that this is/was an Acura.)

The car is now parked on the north side of Houston just below Houston (facing the wrong direction) ... where the shell has attracted some tagging attention...
Two people have been killed by motorists along this corridor in the early morning hours this year... Raife Milligan, 21, and Andy Gil, 21.

That's an Acura FYI

It was not a Hyundai but an Acura MDX.

This is "Escape from New York" worthy.

Classic - The city should just leave it as " a piece of Art" from the LES 70s

I swear I saw that thing in an art gallery a couple of weeks ago.

I’m surprised this car doesn’t have a For Sale sign on it. Does anyone know if it’s for sale?

Surprised it’s not advertised on airbnb, as located in artsy area.

Speaking of eyesores taking up perfectly good parking spaces, the preponderance of booted and otherwise abandoned vehicles grows ever larger. There are three on our little block alone. If the city can't take care of getting these off of our streets it would be nice to start some sort of a graffiti club so we can decorate them as a community.

Has anyone noticed the resemblance to the work of John Chamberlain?

Time to speedbump up the EV

LOL no thanks @10:07. A road is a road. What a nightmare my cab ride home would be stopping and starting over all those bumps. And all our trucked fragile items go bye bye.

It's totally a John Chamberlain! These photos crack me up, they will literally tag anything...
