AccuWeather unveiled its Winter 2022-23 snowfall outlook for the country yesterday.
So what can we expect in NYC? AW is forecasting seasonal snowfall totals of 18-23 inches here, which would be below average for NYC... with between six and nine "days of accumulating snow."
In a show of solidarity with the students, we will take the days off for them.

Sad kids no longer can get a snow day. I remember praying for a lot of snow so I didn’t have to go to school. Now I pray for snow so the city cancels alternate side parking. Lol
As much as I love playing in snow, I hate working in snow..
I hope Chancellor Banks gets hit with a lot of snowballs.

I wouldn't trust these numbers. My Farmers Almanac says differently.

When I went to NYC public school we rarely got days off due to the weather. I remember Hurricane Gloria well—it was not glorious at all, just a little wind and rain—because, miraculously we didn’t have school due to it. Guess they got lax about these things…
