Save the Lower East Side! has the date for when NYU will present its
2031 Expansion Plan...April 14. As STLES noted, the NYU campus will expand 6 million gross square feet within the next two decades. Hope you like the color violet. (Curbed has more on NYU's plans here, including the school's desire for taking over Governors Island.)

after reading this horror story, i really believe that the whole NYU/NY Times blogging initiative is connected. it comes from the same NYU hive mind. it has the same chirpy, expansionist, propaganda voice. everywhere is their manifest destiny.

NYU announced that it is changing the University's name to GENTRIFY U.
Time, I think, for a Purple Revolution.
When I see Washington Square Park pictured within their bordered areas, it makes me cringe. It's no secret they consider the park theirs but there's just something off putting about all these maps.
