Amen! But let's not forget the other who made this possible. Most notably, our Mayor, who never met a developer he didn't like. The DOB who drag their feet and let construction go unheeded, regardless of legality. Or is it the City Council who won't give them the juice to get things done? And how about ourselves. That's right! While New Yorkers are paying our "fair share" to help the city run, "developers" like Bhatia receive massive tax breaks. For what? MORE luxury housing.
What evflip said. And let's not forget about tearing something down before it can be landmarked.
