He reportedly died Friday of a heart attack. He was 59 or 60 depending on what media outlet you trust. News of his death has just been reported in the last few hours.

My heart is broken. Basketball Diaries, the book, not the shite movie, was inspirational. To my writing and too my drug use. A mixed blessing, but then, aren't they all? My heart is truly broken.

I was just listening to him yesterday while taking a drive...this is horrible news to start out a Monday morning...
