Time already for another CB3 liquor license meeting!

The agenda for the November meeting is now live... taking a quick look...

Hmm...Destination on Avenue A is up for a renewal/with compliant history.... And there are plans for the former Kelley & Ping space on the Bowery at Second. A two-level bar, eh? (and whatever happened to those reports that the heinous East Village Yacht Club was opening here?) And something called Vibrations at 116 Avenue C? That is (was?) the home of Lava Gina.

Chickpea on Houston has been closed for quite some time. Perhaps there are come commercial machinations here that I don't understand.

Good point, BaHa... Isn't there a pizza place moving in to the old ChickPea space on Houston...?

I love Pommes Frites like a fat kid loves cake, but what do they need a liquor license for? BYOB seems to work just fine there, and they've only got seating for about six people at a time as it is -- why make things worse? Can't people just leave well enough alone for once?

Yes, pizza moving into ChickPea space but not quickly. Looked in disarray when I walked by earlier today.

yes, it's called Mario's Pizza, and still not open. a sign in the window directs people looking for chickpea to their 14th Street locale.
