I swear to god this ash traveled up to 57th Street. As I exited my subway station near the office (at 57th Street), I noticed light, sporadic, gray flakes in the air. I couldn't make out what they were (they weren't snowflakes and they weren't goose down even though they kind of resembled it). Mystery solved!
