Remembering what St. Brigid's looks like
Seems like forever since we last saw St. Brigid's on Avenue B at Eighth Street with the scaffolding and sidewalk shed, etc.... Here's a shot (via) from 2000 or so...

So much more majestic with the spires atop it
definitely. the spires need to be added back!
Seeing the older photos of the citizens walking around the building makes me more than a little sad as I think about my own mortality. Most of those people in the photos are long gone as I will be too in due time. Just have to enjoy my brief time on this planet as much as I can!
