Cars on East First Street tagged with neon-pink spray paint

A reader sends along these photos, noting that someone took a can of neon-pink spray paint to what looks like almost every car along the south side of First Street between First and Second Avenues.

Obviously done by someone so drunk or stupefyingly stupid that he or she didn't understand the difference between spray painting a home or place of business and some poor schmuck's car. And yes, I am being snarky.
Stuff like this is bound to happen when justifications for declaring open season on certain kinds of private property are provided. There's always someone willing to take it to the next level.

Hopefully the owners have the $$$ to have their cars restored. Leaving a car in that condition will only lead to more vandalism.

I agree, more likely the work of a drunk vandal than a drunk graffiti writer.

What's the difference between tagging the front door to someone's apartment and tagging the front door to someone's car?

Trick question. There is no difference. They're all pieces of sh*t. Doesn't matter if they're drunk or sober.

Wow that is low. Someone must have seen who did this. Anyone willing to come forward?

A couple years ago a can of white paint was spilled on the hood of my neighbor's car, but he got to it in time and was able to clean it up before it made any serious damage.
