I miss the EV. I was through there recently after having moved away years ago...everything is gone. Just one more memory of my misspent youth disappearing.

I took a long look at the exterior of the bar last night while on my way home. Little did I know it'd be my last!

True, Goggla. I'm sure this isn't the actual building demolition. Perhaps saving those blocks for the new place?
@Goggla: HAHA! Mars Bar rebuilt inside the Met, right next to the Temple of Dendur. Pure genius.
Something about those transparent glass bricks...before they were painted over...was just so appealing in the afternoon sunlight.
In my youth I was actually banned from the Mars Bar after a night of over consumption.
Sad days indeed.
