Oh Rusty. Cats will break your heart. I'm hoping Rusty found some other people who's willing to feed him and decided to move in with em. Maybe the food's better. When I was eleven the family cat just disappeared one day and I feel that's what happened with her. Heartbreaking. So disloyal. My dog he might be a douche but at least he would never leave me, he's got that going for him.
Not all cats are disloyal! I've had my cat for nearly 20 years, does that sound like a disloyal kitty to you? Mostly they escape because they are naturally curious and stealthy little creatures, and then oops, they get lost. Also, please don't call your dog a "douche."
Rusty, I hope you are found and reunited with your owners very soon. xoxo and stay safe, little one.

By the way
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

Isn't this the same cat that's been hanging out in Tompkins Square Park for the last few weeks?
Anon 11:00, no, Rusty here is orange and slightly fluffy. The TSP kitty (whom I call "Pee Wee") is buff and shorter haired. See here:

They are both beautiful kitties, though.
That reminds me, we haven't seen any pics of Pee Wee in a while! I luffs him.
