i, for one, think its AMAZING 7-Eleven is moving in. Steves on the Bowery deserves the karma its getting. they've been robbing locals now for years with their 1000% markup on everything. i hope they feel the pain! KARMA!
So what is exactly wrong with 7-11? Although I think it would be more of a surprise to have a Wawa open.
Better this than another overpriced boutique, lounge, or restaurant, none of which I can afford. 7-11 I might actually find useful. Will it be 24 hours?

The inside of a 7-11 looks like a psych ward on steroids.
..... and at 3 A.M. on a Saturday it is going to look like a Psych Ward on the Bowery
gross. this is abhorrent. way to destroy the neighborhood, as well as the planet, disgustng 7-11 franchise
I have to admit I'm looking forward to this. It's a business that will serve all, rather than another boutique hotel that only serves an elite few.
