Hmm, looking a bit like ABC News' logo for this year's political coverage --

but, well, on crack.

Both times I walked by this work in progress this evening, the artist was yelling at surprised-looking passesrs by--loud enough to hear half a block away. One wanted an autograph; the had other asked him what seemed like an innocuous question.
Dude seems like a hardcore dbag!

I witnessed the same dbaggery from the artist this morning. A guy walking by didn't even say a word as far as I could tell and was berated by a nice string of profanities loud enough for everybody to hear. Maybe he's trying to muster up some publicity

East Coast - West Coast rivalry already has LA on the offensive? That's the only reason I can think of for such rude behavior from a visitor to our fine city.

You gotta realize the votes are already in... Last year's show on the in Tribeca sold something like 400K in paintings in one night...

Also not all artist's are easily approachable friendly people... Look at Jackson Pollack for example... how the Guggenheim paid for him to live far away and just produce art so he didn't have to interact with people...

It's sorta common sense stuff also... someone's working you don't go and interrupt them... he was signing "autographs" but you gotta wait for the break...
