EV Grieve is an ad-free East Village blog where you'll find local news on the real estate, restaurants and residents of the East Village NYC. Launched in December 2007.
there was an interesting article about this in the new york post as there was in the new york times and probably every other local media outlet. i find it interesting that he seems to get richer and even richer without even trying -- much of his wealth has been garnered recently while he's been mayor and his assets have been held in trust. i also think it's interesting that he flies himself around in a helicopter on weekends -- yet he takes the subway in the mornings. he strikes me not dissimilar to a character in a wes anderson movie which would also suggest to his fabulist nature with clear out of touch flourishes in his personality.
Have a story idea or tip about something happening in the East Village? Or maybe a photo? Or several photos? Or video! We'd love to hear about it. Or see it. Or something. Please go here to submit a tip.
