They were always nasty to customers anyway. Maybe someone told their corporate office. Or just showed them pictures of their homemade signs that forbade any packing of a box on the premises.
I agree, the customer service was awful. Maybe another UPS store or FedEx store will replace it and get it right, or maybe I'll just go to one of the many copy stores in the neighborhood where you can drop off such packages.
Fuck them. Twice I tried using them. I'd measure and weigh my own shit at home, get an estimate on the UPS website, then I'd head over to this fucking store and they would try to charge at least twice the original estimate and I ended up using good old USPS, whose service is much better.
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

Agreed with everyone above. This store was awful. When they weren't rude, they were simply closed in conflict with their posted hours.
They are still local shipping and supply stores, including one around the corner on 10th. Use them.
Totally agree with above.
They were never open on time.
The guys on 10th street are great!!
