Wow. Last month, we pointed out signage for a new dessert place opening at 102 St. Mark's Place ... next door to Jane's Sweet Buns.
Thanks to EV Grieve reader Allen Semanco for the following photo that provides more detail on the type of dessert...
What's the over/under on a liquor license request? Think of the possibilities! Puddin' Bombs with a shot of Bailey's and Jameson ... Kidding! But...

Great, more diabeetus cuisine. Meanwhile the falafel guys are working 12-hour shifts at their cart on the street. I don't know who all these sugar-addicted noobs are coming to the EV but it's clear they won't stop until our* asses are as wide as Wisconsin.

Best headline ever! And that's puddin' it mildly!
Thanks Marty! I enjoy puddin' up those types of headlines!

i was joking about this that the next artisanal thing would be pudding
what's the over under on that one too?
In a way it's a rehashed idea: ChikaLicious Dessert Club on E 10th was originally called ChikaLicious 'Puddin when it opened around 4 years ago and specialized in puddings. I think the owners realized an expanded concept was more in demand.
I am a pudding lover from way back. Butterscotch is my all time fave--chocolate with rum and butterscotch with Bailey's sounds great. Will make some for the holidays and see how they turn out. Served with whipped cream and shaved bittersweet chocolate curls. Bon Appetit.
Vanilla pudding with coconut rum and whipped cream.
Does it say "dessert" or is that an assumption? There might be main-course puddings, for all we know - meatloaf pudding, or mac-and-cheese pudding, or something. You know, that artesinal nostalgia stuff. (Never mind that it's all *instant* nostalgia.)
Anyway, pudding has got to be the most American food, following the principle of "you are what you eat," since we're increasingly shaped like it.
The trend of infantile food continues, yay.
It only continues here with a "Behind The Scenes At Jane's Sweet Buns" slideshow on SeriousEats.com

I love Chikalicious - a unique concept with an amazing 3 course dessert menu with the option for wine pairings to end that fancy night out, if you can stand to wait in line for an hour to get in.
Vivian Maier's work is great!!She did self portraits in mirrors and bathroom shots. A soulmate. Very gifted photographer. Thanks for the link..I find her work inspiring.
"The proof of the pudding's in the eating"
Will they be serving my hometown favorite?...
