Today's show was utterly fantastic!! Rev. Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping inspired one and all; then World Inferno Friendship Society energized the crowd as members of Bread + Puppet Theater with their pumpkin head, cat head and ghost costumes joined in the dancing. LES artist Eric Drooker closed with his slide show, backed by sax, drums and banjo.
It was a hot time in the old park today -- and there's much MORE to come!!
didn;t see a table for bob... i am hoping we can put some sort of permanent memorial somewhere, really liked the idea of everyone putting their favorite photos as a tribute.
Have a story idea or tip about something happening in the East Village? Or maybe a photo? Or several photos? Or video! We'd love to hear about it. Or see it. Or something. Please go here to submit a tip.
