Reader reports: DOA on Avenue B

Several readers have told us that emergency responders are/were on Avenue B and East Sixth Street. Readers say that there was a DOA male in a wheelchair near Sunny & Annie's. We don't know more at this point. We'll head over that way and see if we can find out any more information.

Please let us know what you find out, Grieve. There's a homeless man I keep an eye out for, he is in a wheelchair, if this is him it will break my heart.

LvV,

Sorry to say that I didn't learn a thing... the whole scene had been cleaned up by the time I walked over there... A few people pretended as if nothing had happened...

I was in 7B around 6pm & we all saw the reflection of the emergency vehicle lights off of the window of Manitoba's. Friends who arrived later said there was a man in a wheelchair seemingly passed-out in front of the former Hari Kiishna storefront.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully there will be a news report. This makes me so sad.

All life is precious..they don't get it..they favor their pets and are obliviously cruel to others..back stabbers, hippocites and parasites.

Americans spend $12 billion annual on veterinary care (let alone food, etc.) That's nearly 50% of what we donate to "Human Services" ($26 billion).

A lot of people care about animals AND care about their fellow humans. These concerns can easily coexist. It's not a contest. Stop derailing, please.
