The Cheers Cut signage (temporary?) went up this past Thursday at 36 St. Mark's Place between Second Avenue and Third Avenue.
As previously reported, Cheers Cut serves Taiwanese-inspired fast food, including fried chicken and seafood dishes and a variety of bento boxes and noodles.
This will be the fifth location for
the chainlet. A worker said that they
could be open as soon as this week.
Updated:
Cheers Cut is
now open.

where everybody knows you noodles.
Agreed, Anon. 11:23, that was my first thought as well. Somehow, the name "Cheers Cut" will never make me think of "Taiwanese-inspired fast food, including fried chicken and seafood dishes and a variety of bento boxes and noodles," no matter what.
a bar where you can also get your hair styled
ps wait.....
pps i may want to keep this to myself
Nothing, and I mean *nothing,* says "Taiwanese food" like the name "Cheers Cut". "Cheers Cut"? I feel something was lost in translation...
