Wonder currently operates 10 locations throughout New York City and New Jersey, offering pick-up, delivery, and dine-in (ordered via touch screens) from a collection of chefs that include Bobby Flay, Marc Murphy, Jose Andres, Nancy Silverton and Marcus Samuelsson ... and restaurants such as Tejas Barbeque, Di Fara Pizza and Barrio Cafe.
While this is primarily a delivery and to-go business, this outpost will include a dine-in option.
A Wonder spokesperson said they are targeting a spring opening.
As previously reported, Village Yokocho, Angel's Share and Panya closed in these spaces in April 2022. Another restaurant, Sharaku, in the corner space at 14 Stuyvesant St., shuttered earlier in the pandemic. (Sunrise Mart in a separate building next door on the second floor also shut down.)
Cooper Union, which leased the buildings from their owners and had subleased them to the Yoshida Restaurant Group for more than 25 years, said it was the tenants' decision to move on. (This post has more background. Yoshida had not paid rent since 2020.)

Poor Mr. Di Fara is turning in his grave, seeing what his family is doing to his name.
I've bumped into their stand at Cesar's in Vegas, doesn't even pretend to look like Di Fara pizza, just sub par bad looking regular slices for exuberant prices.
I still miss Kamenstein Bros. & their bins of nails sold by the pound in a paper bag.

I still miss Around the Clock. The food could be inconsistent, but it was our inconsistent food.
I miss the Asian food grocers on the second floor. Even though one had to wait along with other strangers for what seemed like forever as the lift went down to ground floor, it felt like a special destination as the doors opened, like you were transported to a different world. I purchased beautiful noodle bowls a few years ago and still they are stunningly perfect. They offered such a unique selection of hard to find items. It reminded me of being in Tokyo. Another gem of NYC...gone :(

@ NYCGirl1986 I'd forgotten about Around the Clock - thanks for the reminder.
I also miss not only Sunrise Mart (there's one on 41st Street between 5th and Madison - actually two: one side's prepared foods the other is a market - if you're ever up in nose-bleed territory;), but also Sharaku's great lunch specials, and people watching location...
And I do dread the inevitable ebike/food delivery worker hangout aspect of this place.
