Oh no!

@angel_chao just passed along this photo...

And just hours after our post that the lights had returned... Too many holiday lights highs and lows for one night...

The park is officially declared bipolar now. Someone get some Prozac to that tree asap!

Just a question, why are the Christmas tree lights being referred to as the holiday lights?

It's that one loose bulb you can't find that drives you crazy !!!!!

@anon, Is that you Bill O'Reilly!? You're allowed to call it anything you want. I'm partIal to " winter solstice conifer". It's called a holiday tree because the people who planted it and paid for it weren't promoting a particular religion perhaps, but were tapping into a universal subconscious that has celebrated the change of seasons in various ways over all of human history. They are more interested in bringing a metaphorical light to a darkened world. An inclusive viewpoint, not a narrow one. Happy Kwanakahmass.

Several readers on previous posts said that the use of "Christmas" to describe the lights in the Park was offensive to them.
