Owner David Cichowicz confirmed to EVG contributor Steven that Good Beer will shut down in the days ahead, depending on the inventory.
The shop apparently couldn't recover from the COVID-related closures and subsequent slowdown in business.
In an appreciation post from April 2020, EVG reader Abfus had this to say:
As the name suggests, Good Beer has always stocked an impeccable selection of domestic and international beer across every style. And it gets deliveries from local breweries several times a week, so you can simultaneously support the locally owned store and the city's flourishing brewery scene.
Good Beer first opened in November 2010.

Sad. They had a great selection.
Sad, they had a wide variety of beer available for everyone. Though i never went to the back i heard they had a nice patio for people to enjoy their beer. Need more stores like this in the area, and less smoke shops.
This is a shame, they've got such a great selection and a nice staff. I'll miss their tap list too, there was always something interesting on there.
This is such a loss! This sucks. This is one of a handful of good bottle shops that we have and I've always enjoyed going there.
Damn don't buy beer that often but when i did i got it at Good Beer even when they went CC only :(
This is so sad, was a great place to hang out & have a beer outside or while shopping. Dave will be missed!
